Residency at LSU / Ochsner Eye Center
Dr. Feinfield completed his residency training at the LSU/Ochsner Eye Center in New Orleans under Dr. Marguerite McDonald, who performed the world’s first laser vision correction surgery.
Pioneer in Cataract & IOL Technology
A noted cataract surgeon, he was among the first ophthalmologists in Los Angeles to perform “torsional” cataract surgery and is the featured cataract surgeon for the Discovery Health Channel.
Laser Vision Correction & BOTOX Research
He performs PRK/LASEK and LASIK with CustomVue VISX Star S-4 wavefront technology—and underwent successful LASIK himself in 1999, performed by his partner, Dr. Alan Berg. He also served as one of the original FDA investigators for BOTOX.
